Seal up something that's never intended to be opened and you'll always find someone that just has to see what's hidden inside and will tear it apart. I'm not like that, although I did open up one of the units to simply save others the trouble of course. |

A simple, but very reliable device. A resonant reed with a coil to excite it and an adjustment screw in the top which was likely for precise factory adjustment of the frequency but could also lead to these units being useful for some unique applications. |
