Variable & Trimmer Capacitors

I have a number of variable capacitors & trimmers, new & used, some with vernier drives and some still in an assembly with other components. Listing further details then that is too time consuming so email if you see something like you need or send details of what's required, like number of sections, capacitance range, physical size and perhapes a photo of something like what's required and I'll  provide a photo and further details of what I have.

Several variable capacitors with a vernier dial are available in items listed on this page and also in several RF Signal Generators listed on the Misc. Radio Items Page and the Control Knob & Vernier Dial page has several vernier dials by themselves.

Very nice capacitors, actually the best I've seen in a long time and the plastic mounting plate allows for isolated mounting. I also have the flexible shaft couplings used with these caps, plus some others, available as well as many of the other components from the HP-236A units these caps came from, like the PC boards and the vernier dials that are listed on the Knobs & Vernier Dial page.

Here's a 5:1 vernier
drive coupled to a
20-120 pfd variable cap
and a 10 uhy coil on a
2" dia. x 6-3/8" long
ceramic coil form.

100:1 worm gear type vernier drive, # in small window is from 0 - 50 for 180 degrees of capacitor rotation (50 turns), and tubes are a 6C4 and a 5654/6AK5W.

FFRD-6A4 - 8 MHZ VFOUse 'as is' for a VFO or for it's 15:1 vernier drive with lock to
prevent movement, coils, tubes and many other components. Tubes are (4) 6AG5 + (1) 6AU6.
